Scott Redford is an influential Australian artist working to meld local themes and ideas, with international art movements. His work is represented in all major Australian collections and has been included in significant international exhibitions. Utilising spray paint and imagery of iconic figures (such as Kurt Cobain), ensures his work is more accessible to a broad, non-traditional audience. Continuing his experimental art forms are his ‘surf paintings’, produced in conjunction with surfboard technicians to highlight their glossy appeal (1).
